Happy B-Day to myself

 Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist Samstag, der 10. Mai 2014 und ich habe tatsächlich Geburtstag. Ich kann Euch eins sagen, ich hatte einen ganz tollen b-day. Es ging nämlich auf Weltreise.

Zum Frühstück gab es Popcorn in einem Schweizer Kino zur Vormittagsvorstellung von Bad Neighbour mit Seth Rogen und Zac Efron. Teilweise etwas langsam, aber dann wieder phasenweise richtig zum Brüllen und irre pervers. Das Beste am Vormittsgskino? Kaum einer ist da und heute waren wir sogar ganz allein im Kino.

Von der Schweiz aus ging es dann nach Mexiko. Genauer gesagt in das Restaurant Desperado in Cancun, wo wir hervorragend unter einem stilechten Wellblech ein irre gutes Essen hatten. Der Clou, da ich Geburtstag hatte, wurde der Tisch mit Luftschlange und Ballons geschmückt, mein Hauptgang und ein super leckeres Desert ging aufs Haus.

Von Mexiko ging die Reise weiter in ein Einkaufszentrum in Brasilien. Es wurde gebummelt, Starbucks besucht und ein kleines "Ich husch mal schnell in den Douglas rein" wurde zu einem Schminkabenteuer am MAC Stand. Um die neue Playland Serie zu vermarkten gab es ein kostenloses Make up und extrem süße Zuckerwatte. Widerstehen war nicht drin und ich musste mir einfach etwas von MAC gönnen. Geshopped habe ich eine Mascara und aus der Playland Serie die Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour in der Farbe Young at Heart. Bilder gibt es unten. An der Kasse noch schwups für die Schweizer Douglas Karte angemeldet und - weil es ja mein B-Day ist - eine Lancome Geschenktüte, bestehend aus Concealer, Foundation, Mascara, einem Skin Corrector und dem Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate, abgesahnt.

Das war es dann aber auch schon wieder mit meiner Eintagsweltreise und ich bin zurück auf meiner heimischen Terrasse mit einem Glas Aperol mit Grapefruit Limo und schreibe für Euch diesen Post. Eigentlich wollte ich noch einen Kuchen backen, aber ich werde es auf morgen verschieben. Ich probiere ein neues Rezept aus und sollte das etwas taugen, werde ich es natürlich mit Euch teilen.

it is May 10th 2014 and it is officially my b-day. Let me tell you something - I had a blast. You know why? Because I took a trip around the world.

For breakfast I had popcorn at a Swiss cinema watching Bad Neighbor with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. There were some slow parts but then there were scenes that knocked me out of my seat laughing - or just because they were pretty gross. The best thing about going to the movies in the morning is that there is almost no one there. Today, we were all alone.

From Switzerland our journey lead us to Mexicao, a restaurant called Desperado in Cancun, were we had an awesome Mexican lunch. Really cool: because of my b-day, the Desperado team decorated the table and my main dish and the surprise dessert were for free.

From Mexico we jumped to shopping mall in Brazil. We walked around, had a Starbucks and my "I just have to got into Douglas for a second" turned out to be a make up adventure as MAC was promoting their new Playland line. I could neither resist the cotton candy nor treating myself with a new mascara and the Casual Colour Lip & Cheek Colour out of the Playland line in the colour Young at Heart. At the counter, I signed up for a Douglas Card and - because of my b-day - I got a goodie bag full of Lancome gifts: Concealer, foundation, mascara, skin corrector and the Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate. Yay!

That is basically it from my one day around the world trip as I am back on my terrace with a glass of Aperol with grapefruit writing this post for you. Actually I was planning on baking me my own b-day cake but I am really tired now. I will skip to tomorrow trying out this new recipe and if it is good I will share it with you.
