 Hallo meine Lieben,

eine neue Woche, ein neuer Mittwoch und schon sind wir bei Curves Around the World und unserem heutigen Motto: Monochrom. Worum geht's? Bei Monochrom dreht es sich nur um zwei Farben, na ja um zwei Nicht-Farben: Schwarz und weiß. Um das Thema durch und durch aufzugreifen, zeige ich Euch die heutigen Bilder zusätzlich in Schwarz/Weiß.

Curves Around the World - Bombshell

Hallo meine Lieben,

Zeit für Curves Around the World! Meine Herren was ein Thema: Bombshell. Puh! Für alle, die diesen Ausdruck nicht kennen, die Übersetzung ist so was wie Sexbombe.

Ganz ehrlich, ich denke für jeden symbolisiert eine Sexbombe eine andere Art von Frau. Ich kann mich auch auf subtile Art und Weise wie ein Sexbombe fühlen ohne mich halb nackt zu präsentieren. Jedem das seine, natürlich, aber für mich ist das, ausser im Sommer und im Schlafzimmer, gar nichts.

Was sollte ich also anziehen? Ich habe da dieses Kleid, schwarz, eng, herzförmiges Dekolletee, lange Netzärmel. Das Kleid hat wirklich einen Wow-Effekt. Doch gestern morgen war mir nicht danach. Spontan war mir mehr nach einem Kleid, das auf den ersten Blick Business schreit, aber auf den zweiten mit einem tiefen Dekolletee, semitransparenten Oberteil und kurzen Rock bezirzt. Entscheidung gefallen.

Ich trug es gestern auch auf der Arbeit mit meinem Schneeleoparden Cardigan und einem Top unten drunter, damit man auch ja nichts sieht. In der Mittagspause eilte ich dann schnell zu Mama, die die folgenden Fotos von mir gemacht hat.

time for Curves Around the World! OMG what a theme this week: bombshell. Oh my.

To be honest I think a bombshell can be variety of personal interpretations of a unique kind of a woman. I can be a bombshell without wearing something screaming SEX and without being all naked. Of course everyone is free to look the way they want but for me being half naked is only something for the very very hot summer time - or the bedroom.

So what to wear? I got this dress, black, tight, heart shaped neckline, long mesh sleeves. The dress got it's wow effect. But yesterday morning I didn't feel like wearing this dress. I was feeling more like that one dress that screams business at first but then wraps you around the finger with a plunging neckline, almost see through top and short skirt. Decision is up.

I wore it to work yesterday with my snow leopard cardigan and with a top underneath so no one can take a look behind it's layers. During lunch break I rushed to my mom and she took the following pictures.

Curves Around the World - Grunge

 Hallo meine Lieben,

ja, ja, ich weiß es ist schon fast wieder Mittwoch und ich komme jetzt erst mit meinem Curves Around the World Post um die Ecke. Diese Woche war Stress pur - positiver Stress. Ich war nicht nur in Berlin zur Curvy is Sexy sondern habe auch mit meiner liebsten Alex einen spontanen Wochenendausflug gemacht. Als ich gestern wieder zu Hause an kam war ich schlag kaputt und habe gefühlte 14 Stunden geschlafen.

Aber kommen wir zu dem Motto, das ist nämlich gar nicht mein Fall: Grunge. Zugegeben, mit 17, 18 hatte ich eine Nirvana Phase, nichts ging über Kurt Cobain. Ohne Nirvana hätte es den Grunge, den wir heute kennen nie gegeben. Früher hatte ich mehr Kajal im Gesicht als Creme und trug sehr viel schwarz mit rot. Wie die Zeit vergeht. Ich mag zwar heute noch Nirvana und trage schwarz, aber alles nicht mehr so extrem wie vor 10 Jahren.

Was sollte ich also zu diesem Motto anziehen? Ich entschied mich für einen fake leather overkill. Also her mit der H&M Latex Leggings und dem H&M Latex Rock. Dazu ein Shirt und eine Strickjacke. Mit dem dunkel grauen und schwarzen Lidschatten habe ich es auch übertrieben. Nicht mein Favorit aber ganz ok. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Motto...

oh well I know it is almost Wednesday again and only now I get to do my Curves Around the World post. This week was full of stress - the good kind of stress. I have not only been to Berlin for the Curvy is Sexy but I also went on a week end trip with Alex. When I got home yesterday I was so tired that I slept way too long.

But now, let's get to the motto that I don't really like: Grunge. I have to admit, when I was 17, 18 years old nothing was more important to me than Nirvana and Kurt Cobain. Without Nirvana, the Grunge we know today would not exist. Back then I had more kajal in my face than lotion and I was wearing mainly black with red. How the time goes by. Today I still like Nirvana and I wear black but it is not as extreme as it was 10 years ago.

So what to wear? I decided for a fake leather overkill. I got the H&M latex leggings and the matching skirt with a shirt and black cardigan. I also took way too much dark grey and black eye shadow. All in all not my favorite but it is all right. I can't wait for the next motto...

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist wieder Zeit für die Fatty Fashion Fun Challenge. Das November Motto lautet:

Animal Prints - Erwecke das Tier in dir.

Ach das ist doch mein Motto. Ich liebe Tierprints. Ja, Tierprints sind irgendwie klischeehaft aber ich liebe sie nun mal. Am liebsten Leo. Wer meinen Blog liest, weiß, dass ich schon des öfteren Leo getragen habe. So wie hier, hier, dort und wieder hier. Aber diese Oberteil ist mein absoluter Favorit. Als ich gesehen habe, dass das November Motto Animal Prints ist, musste ich mir diese Oberteil unbedingt für diesen Post aufheben und dabei trage ich es fast ständig. 

Was macht das Oberteil so besonders? Es ist von meiner Mama, meiner wunderbaren super süßen Mama. Zwischen uns liegt - logischer Weise - ein großer Altersunterschied, aber meine Mama ist eine jung gebliebene Mama und zieht sich nicht wie eine Oma an, nur weil sie jenseits der 50 ist. Kurz um: diese Oberteil gehört meiner Mama. Besser gesagt gehörte ihr. Sie kaufte es sich zu groß und gab es mir bei einem Besuch "mal so zum anprobieren". Natürlich hat eben dieses Oberteil nicht mehr den Weg in Mamas Schrank zurück gefunden. Aber Mama fackelte nicht lange und bestellte es sich in einer Nummer kleiner. Jetzt tragen wir es beide.

it is time for the Fatty Fashion Fun Challenge. The November motto is:

Oh this is motto. I love animal prints. Yes animal prints are some how a cliché but I love them to death. My favortie is leopard. Anyone reading my blog knows that I already wore leopard before. Just click 

here, here, there and here again. This shirt is my favorite of all. When I saw that the November motto will be animal prints I just had to keep it for this challenge. Pretty tough because I wear it almost all the time. 

What makes this Shirt so very special? It is from my mom, my wonderful super cute mom. Between my mom and me there is of course a bigger difference in age but I have a young mom who does not dress in granny clothes just because she is beyond 50. This shirt belongs to my mom. Well let's use past tense. She bought it too big and passed it to my "just for a try" when I was at her house. Of course the shirt never returned to her closet again. But mom didn't wait too long and ordered it a size smaller. Now the two of us are wearing it together.

Hallo meine Lieben,

Thanks God it's Friday! Was bin ich glücklich, auch wenn ich zugeben muss, diese Woche war nicht so schlimm, lag wahrscheinlich an dem Feiertag gestern. Heute war ich beim Friseur und als ich ohne lästigen Ansatz und mit neuen mint-farbenen Strähnen aus dem Salon kam, schien die Sonne. Ich musste also raus in die Natur und Fotos machen.

Thanks God it's Friday! I am so happy, even if I have to admit that this week was not as bad as the last ones, probably because of the bank holiday yesterday. Today I went out to get my hair done and the sun was shining when I went out of the salon, without dark roots and with mint highlights. I just had to stay out to take some pictures. 

Dieses Kleid ist eines meiner Lieblingskleider aus diesem Sommer. Ich hatte es noch schnell vor dem Abflug bestellt und trug es stolz beim abendlichen Strandspaziergang. Aber auch jetzt im Herbst lässt es sich noch gut mit einer Leggings und mit einem Jäckchen tragen.

Auf dem unteren Foto könnt Ihr gut meine neuen Strähnchen sehen. Schnike, oder?


This dress is one of my favorites of this summer. I bought it last minute before we headed off and I wore it so proud for the evening walks on the beach. But also now, in autumn, dress can be worn with a leggings and a cardigan.

Ein Neckholder Kleid ist für Frauen mit großer Oberweite eigentlich immer die richtige Wahl. Der tiefe Ausschnitt formt eine wunderschöne Brust und streckt den Hals, der bei uns Moppel immer zu kurz geraten wirkt, Doppelkinn sei Dank. 

A neck-holder dress is always the right choice for women with big breasts. The plunging neckline forms beautiful breasts and stretches the neck, which always looks stout on us big girls, thank you double chin.

es ist Ende des Monats, Monatsabschluss Zeit und auf der Arbeit brennt die Hütte. Deshalb schaffte ich es diese Woche kaum Fotos zu machen und zu bloggen. Für gestern nahm ich es mir dann felsenfest vor, aber ratet mal, was ich gestern gemacht habe: Ja! Ich habe gearbeitet. Heute habe ich mich dann endlich entspannt und ich gab mir dann auf Vox.de die Wiederholung dieser Shopping Queen Woche. Motto:

Eleganz ist Trumpf, ziehe die Blicke beim Pferderennen auf Dich.

Das musste ich nach stylen!

it is the end of the month, the closure of the month and everyone is goinig crazy at work. That's why I was neither able to take pictures nor to blog. I was planning to definately blog yesterday but guess what I was doing: Yes! I was working. Today I was finally relaxing and I was watching the rerun of this week's Shopping Queen on vox.de. Motto:

Elegance is a trump, be the eyecatcher at the racecourse. 

I had to get dressed for that motto!

Und hier bin ich. Ich kombiniere ein luftiges Kleid in strahlendem pink mit einem weißen Blazer und einem zum Ausschnitt passendem Gürtel in Silber. Durch den mit Perlen und Strass besetzen Ausschnitt benötige ich keinen weiteren Schmuck. Das Weiß des Blazers spiegelt sich in dem Fascinator wieder. 

And here I am. I match a light dress in bright pink with a white blazer and a silver belt reflecting the neckline. I do not need any jewelry because of the pearls and rhinestones at the neckline. The white colour of the blazer refelects itself in the fascinator.

Silberne Pumps hätten hier viel besser gepasst, als die pinken, die ich trage, aber meiner Schuhsammlung fehlen noch silberne Pumps. Pink geht aber auch.


Silver pumps would be the perfect match instead of the pink ones I am wearing but silver Pumps are missing in my shoe collection. But pink is also ok.

Hallo meine Lieben,

so casual wie die Woche begann, so classy geht sie weiter. Ich liebe dieses Outfit. Ich habe ja Leo Prints jeder Art, nur der Schneeleopard war lange Zeit nicht in meinem Schrank vertreten. Um so mehr liebe ich diese Jacke, auch wenn ich sie schon ca. einen Monat besitze.

as casual as the week started as classy it continues. I love this outfit. I do have leo prints of every kind but the snow leopard left a gap in my closet for a long time. That's why I love this jacket so much, even though I bought it about a month ago. 

Die Kombination aus dezentem Strick und einer leicht transparenten Bluse ist sehr gelungen. Klar, auf der Arbeit geht keine durchsichtige Bluse, aber die Bluse gewinnt mit einem etwas längerem Top. 

The combination of a soft knitted Jacket and see through blouse is well matched. Yes, of course, see through is a no go at work but the blouse wins with a longer top underneath. 

Besonderer Hingucker bei der Bluse: die Rüschen und die Schleife. Süß ♡

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

ich hoffe ja doch, es gibt Euch da draussen.  
Heute hieß es zurück zur Arbeit und ich bin immer noch nicht fit. Daher auch das verkniffene Grinsen.

Das Tuch habe ich in meiner Shopping Oase, dem MTZ, im Sale bei Guess super günstig erstanden. Es ist zwar schon ein bisschen her, dass ich es gekauft habe, aber ich freue mich immernoch über das Schnäppchen. 


I got that scarf at my shopping oasis, the MTZ, it was on sale at Guess and a really great bargain. I bought it some weeks ago but I am still so happy about that snip.

Heute zeige ich Euch mein Lieblingskleid getragen als Rock. Ich liebe Farbe und ich liebe BlinBling, aber manchmal wird es selbst mir zu viel. 

Today I show you my favorite dress worn as a skirt. I love colour and I love blingbling but even I can have enough of it. 

Der Pullover ist sehr hoch geschnitten, was oben zu viel Fläsche bietet. Daher lockere ich das Bild mit einem farblich passenden Schal auf.

The pullover is so high necked that I look bolder in the upper part. That's why I try to losen up the picture with a colour matching scarve. 

An dem Kleid liebe ich besonders, wie der Rock beim Gehen hin und her schwingt. Der weisse Pullover betont nicht nur das Schwingen des Rockes, aber auch die leuchtend pinke Farbe. 

The most beautiful part of dress is how the bottom part swings when I am walking. The white pullover does not only underline this swing but also the bright pink colour.
