Lady in Red ♡ rotes Peplum Kleid Teil 1

Hallo meine Lieben,

ich habe mir für die nächsten Sonntage etwas ausgedacht. Ein rotes Kleid, besser gesagt ein rotes Peplum Kleid mag für den ein oder anderen keine gute Wahl für Mopsies zu sein. Rot ist eine Signalfarbe und zieht alle Blicke auf sich - dabei sollte man jenseits der Norm eher auf gedeckte Farben setzen. Peplum legt den Fokus auf Taille und Bauch - will man das mit mehr auf den Hüften und Speckrollen wirklich? Oh ja! Man will!

I made up my mind for the following Sundays. Some people would say, a red dress, better a red peplum dress, is not the right choice for plus sizers. Red is signal, an eyecatcher - beyond normal sizes there should be discreet colours. Peplum gives focus to belly and waist - do you really want that with more on your hips and love handles? Oh yes! You do!

Ich gebe ja zu, dass ich auch erst zögerlich an dieses Thema heran gegangen bin. Als ich dieses Kleid jedoch bei Asos curve sah, musste ich es einfach haben. Es ging kein Weg dran vorbei. Ich war dann sehr überrascht, dass das Kleid mir perfekt passte, das rot mit mir um die Wette strahlte und der Schnitt einfach unglaublich schmeichelhaft ist. Schaut selbst.

I do admit, that I was hesitating when I was first thinking about this. But when I saw this dress at Asos curve I just had to get it. No other way. I was very surprised to see that dress fitted perfectly, red was shining bright as I was and that the cut was unbelievable flattering. Take a look. 

Es kaschiert wunderbar den Bauch und der Pencil Skirt des Kleides formt einen tollen Hintern. 

It perfectly hides the belly and the pecil skirt like lower part of the dress shapes a great butt. 

Mit meiner heutigen Fotostrecke zeige ich Euch die elegante Party Ausgabe dieses Kleides. Aber keine Sorge, das Kleid hat viele Facetten. Am elegantesten wirkt das Kleid ohne viel Schnickschnack. Eine schamle Kette und eine kleine Clutch mit schwarzen Schuhen reicht alle mal um einen Wow Auftritt auf jeder Party zu erziehlen.

Just a thin necklace and a small clutch with black pumps is enough to create a wow appearance on every party you attend.

Shopping Queen ♡ Konzert

Hallo meine Lieben,

sagt mal, habt Ihr ein festes Wochenendritual? Etwas, was Ihr jedes Wochenende macht? Bei den meisten wird es der Wocheneinkauf sein oder ein Treffen mit den Freunden. Bei mir steht morgens, solange mein Gatte noch schläft, die Wiederholung von Shopping Queen auf dem Programm. Ohne Shopping Queen Rückblick der Woche ist es für mich kein Wochenende. Motto dieser Woche:

AC/DC oder Zillertaler Schürzenjäger, style Dich für ein Konzert Deiner Wahl  
Wichtig ist es, nicht den Star zu kopieren, sondern dass man Outfit erkennt, auf welches Konzert man geht.

tell me, do you have a certain ritual for your weekends? One thing you do every single weekend? For the most of, it will probably be grocery shopping or a date with the friends. For me it is watching the reruns of this weeks' Shopping Queen in the mornings as long as my hubbie is still asleep. It is not a weekend if there are no Shopping Queen reruns. This weeks motto:

AC/DC or Zillertaler Schürzenjäger, create a style for a concert of your choice
It is important not to cover the stars but to tell everyone with your outfit to which concert you are going to. 

     

Ich habe mir also folgende Fragen gestellt: Auf welches Konzert würdest ich gerne mal gehen? Welche Künstler sind nicht nur aktuell sondern auch generell meine Favoriten und welche Musikrichtung passt am besten zu meinem persönlichen Style? Egal auf welche Frage meine Antwort lautete: ADELE. 

So I asked myself the following questions: Which concert do I want to go to? Which artists are my favorites in general and not just temporary and which kind of music represents my personal style the most? No matter which question, my answer was always ADELE.

Für das einzig wahre Gänsehautfeeling, schaut Euch dieses Video an. Einfach unglaublich. Für ein Konzert von Ihr in der Royal Albert Hall würde ich sogar einen Kurztrip nach London wagen. Rolling in the Deep ist eines meiner Lieblingslieder, nicht nur weil ich als Gossip Girl Fan an die tanzenden Blair und Chuck denken muss ♡

For the one and only feeling, take a look at this video. Unbelievable amazing. For a concert of her in Royal Albert Hall, I would dare to go on a trip to London. Rolling in the Deep is one of my favorites not only because the Gossip Girl fan inside of me thinks about the dancing Blair and Chuck ♡

     

Ich liebe ihre Musik, ihre warme Stimme, die tollen Texte und vor allem ihren Style. Sie zeigt der Welt, dass auch mopsige Mädchen einfach wunderschön aussehen können. Für meinen Konzertbesuch habe ich einen Pencil Skirt gewählt und eine transparente Bluse. Mein Style wirkt edel und feminin und passt perfekt zu Adele. Flache Schuhe waren mir wichtig, denn auf einem Konzert möchte ich mir nicht mit High Heels die Beine in den Bauch stehen. 

I love her music, her warm voice, the great lyrics and most of all her style. She shows the world, that plus size girls can be amazing beautiful. For my evening at her concert I chose a pencil skirt and matched it with a see through blouse. My style is classy and feminin and fits perfectly to Adele. Flats were a must as at a concert, I do not want to stay on high heels the whole time. 

Ich nutze den heutigen Post auch, um Euch meine neue Jacke von Simply Be vorzustellen, die Bouclé Biker Jacke. Ich liebe den Kontrast aus Bouclé und den Lederärmeln. Der schräge Reißverschluss macht die Jacke rockig und elegant zugleich. Obendrein ist sie auch noch herrlich warm. I am so in love ♡

I am using today's post to show you my new jacket from Simply Be, the bouclé biker jacket. I love the contrast of soft bouclé and tough leather sleeves. The angular zipper makes the jacket elegant and rocking at the same time. On top of that, it is so lovely warm. I am so in love ♡

Ein absolutes Plus ist der abnehmbare kunstpelzkragen. Kuscheliger geht es nicht. 

A definitve plus is the removable fake fur collar. It can't get any more cuddly than that.

Hallo meine Lieben,

Thanks God it's Friday! Was bin ich glücklich, auch wenn ich zugeben muss, diese Woche war nicht so schlimm, lag wahrscheinlich an dem Feiertag gestern. Heute war ich beim Friseur und als ich ohne lästigen Ansatz und mit neuen mint-farbenen Strähnen aus dem Salon kam, schien die Sonne. Ich musste also raus in die Natur und Fotos machen.

Thanks God it's Friday! I am so happy, even if I have to admit that this week was not as bad as the last ones, probably because of the bank holiday yesterday. Today I went out to get my hair done and the sun was shining when I went out of the salon, without dark roots and with mint highlights. I just had to stay out to take some pictures. 

Dieses Kleid ist eines meiner Lieblingskleider aus diesem Sommer. Ich hatte es noch schnell vor dem Abflug bestellt und trug es stolz beim abendlichen Strandspaziergang. Aber auch jetzt im Herbst lässt es sich noch gut mit einer Leggings und mit einem Jäckchen tragen.

Auf dem unteren Foto könnt Ihr gut meine neuen Strähnchen sehen. Schnike, oder?


This dress is one of my favorites of this summer. I bought it last minute before we headed off and I wore it so proud for the evening walks on the beach. But also now, in autumn, dress can be worn with a leggings and a cardigan.

Ein Neckholder Kleid ist für Frauen mit großer Oberweite eigentlich immer die richtige Wahl. Der tiefe Ausschnitt formt eine wunderschöne Brust und streckt den Hals, der bei uns Moppel immer zu kurz geraten wirkt, Doppelkinn sei Dank. 

A neck-holder dress is always the right choice for women with big breasts. The plunging neckline forms beautiful breasts and stretches the neck, which always looks stout on us big girls, thank you double chin.

Neuer Lieblingsmantel ♡

schaut her, schaut her, ich habe einen neuen Mantel! I love! Ich dachte immer, rot wäre nicht meine Farbe, da aber rot die Farbe des Herbstes 2013 sein soll, wagte ich einen Versuch. Siehe da, rot steht mir.

take look, look at me, I have a new coat! I love! I always thought that red is not my colour but as red is the colour of autumn 2013, I just had to give it a try. What a surprise, I look good in red. 

Nicht nur die Farbe ist einfach nur toll, ich liebe auch den sehr femininen Schnitt. Zugeknöpft und mit dem Gürtel geknotet wirkt der Mantel wie ein ausgestelltes Kleid. Beim Laufen schwingt der Rock des Mantels leicht hin und her. Besonders edel wirkt der nach hinten länger werdende Saum. 

I don't just love the colour but also the very feminin cut. Buttoned up and tied up with the belt the coat looks like swing dress. While walking the lower part swings from side to side. Very elegant is the high-low cut. 

Aber auch die Qualität stimmt. Er ist mollig warm und kuschelig weich. Das Material ist dicht, aber nicht zu schwer. Der Mantel fällt etwas größer aus. Normaler weise kaufe ich Jacken immer eine Nummer größer, hier reicht aber meine normale Größe und ich bin mir sicher, ein warmer Pullover passt auch noch drunter. Somit passt er zu Herbst und Winter.


Also the quality is good. It is warm and cuddly soft. The material is thick but not too heavy. The coat is not that tight. Normally I buy coats one size bigger but I got this one in my normal size and I am sure that I can wear a warm sweater underneath. This way the coat is perfect for autumn and for winter. 

Aber natürlich will ich Euch nicht vorenthalten, was ich unter meinem Mantel trage. Es ist ein einfaches aber auch sexy Kleidchen in dunkel blau mit großer, schwarzer Schleife. Dazu kombiniere ich eine graue Strickjacke, eine schwarze Leggings und einen schwarzen Gürtel mit Schleife. Perfekt dazu: blaue-graue Wildleder Pumps.


Of course I do not want you to miss what I am wearing underneath. It is a simply but sexy dress in dark blue with a big black bow on the chest. I match the dress to a gray cardigan, a black leggings and a black belt with a bow. Perfect fit: blue and gray suede pumps.
