 Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist Mittwoch, wenn auch schon später am Abend: Zeit für Curves Around the World. Motto dieser Woche ist DIY. Find ich klasse, ich habe meine Liebe zu DIY entdeckt. DIY? Do it yourself! Schmuck mache ich z.B. gerne selbst. Stricken finde auch toll.

Meine Mutter hat mir zu Weihnachten ein wunderschönes Shirt von Via Appia geschenkt. Passend dazu habe ich mir ein Armband und eine Kette gemacht. Warum Schmuck kaufen, wenn ich Ihn auch selber basteln kann? An dieser Stelle noch mal: Danke Mama ♥︎

For Christmas I got a beautiful shirt of Via Appia from my Mom. For this shirt, I made a bracelet and a necklace. Why should I buy that if I can make it myself? Again at this place: Thank you Mama ♥︎

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich das letzte mal einen Post zum Thema Casual Monday veröffentlicht habe. Die Idee hinter dem Casual Monday ist, die Woche entspannt und nicht so gestresst zu beginnen. Keine Heels, keine Shapewear sondern bequeme Kleidung und flache Schuhe - textile Entspannung eben. 

Heute trage ich eine unglaublich bequeme und weiche Hose und dazu einen grauen Pullover mit Strassverzierung am Ausschnitt. Gemütlicher kann man in die Woche nicht starten.

Hallo meine Lieben,

bereits vor ein paar Tagen habe ich Euch ein Outfit mit dieser Hose gezeigt. In der Facebook Plus Size Bloggergruppe brach daraufhin eine tolle Diskussion los, denn auf Facebook nannte ich es ein "Outfit für Mutige". 

Einigen Mädels ist der Begriff mutig übel aufgestoßen. Es stellte sich die Frage, muss es für eine kräftige Frau Mut bedeuten, figurbetonte Kleidung zu tragen? 

Mut bedeutet für jeden etwas anderes. Figurbetont ist für mich nicht unbedingt mutig. Ich trage meistens figurbetonte Kleidung, denn meiner Meinung nach trägt das bei Moppeln häufig auftretende krampfhafte Verhüllen mit weiter Kleidung noch viel mehr auf als engere Kleidung. Jeder Mensch erkennt auf den ersten Blick, dass da mehr an mir ist, als da vielleicht sein sollte. 

Ja, meine Beine sind dick. Eine Boot Cut Jeans oder eine Palazzo Hose kaschieren das überhaupt nicht, denn meine Oberschenkel sind so unförmig, dass es beinahe lachhaft aussieht wenn sich unterhalb der Oberschenkel meine Waden in etwas weiterem Stoff verstecken. Dann bleibe ich meistens lieber in einer Röhre. 

Ich habe einen Grundsatz. Ist es unten weit muss es oben eng sein und ist es oben weit, darf es unten nicht auch noch weit sein, sonst wirkt man dicker als man ist. Man bildet nur noch eine textile Masse, in der man selbst untergeht. 

Aber nicht nur das dicke Verhüllen kann ich nicht leiden. Viele übergewichtige Frauen lassen sich hängen, geben sich selbst auf. "Warum sich zurecht machen? Ich wirke doch eh nur plump und hässlich." Das habe ich schon so oft gehört. Bin ich plump? Bin ich hässlich? Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich möchte keine Mini Me's da draussen rum laufen haben. Jeder einzelne muss seinen Weg finden sich selbst zu gefallen. Erzählt mir nicht, dass Frauen, die sich hängen lassen, sich wohl fühlen. Ihr tut es nicht und man sieht es Euch an. Gebt Euch nicht auf. 

Jeder Mensch hat etwas, was ihn gut aussehen lässt, auch wir Moppsies. Ich sage nicht, dass dick sein schön oder etwas tolles ist, aber nur weil man dick ist, ist man nicht hässlich. Schaut Euch an, was gefällt Euch an Euch? Mir gefallen meine Haare, ich finde mein Gesicht und mein Dekolletee schön, manchmal mag ich sogar meinen dicken Hintern und ich schätze an mir, dass alle Proportionen irgendwie zusammen passen. 

Es gibt jedoch auch Eigenschaften am eigenen Körper, die man so gar nicht leiden kann. Bei mir sind es die Oberschenkel. Meine Oberschenkel und ich haben ein angespanntes Verhältnis. Sie sind da, ja, aber extra in den Mittelpunkt stellen will ich sie nicht. Mit dieser Hose stelle ich sie jedoch in den Mittelpunkt. Es hatte mich Überwindung gekostet, das Augenmerk auf die Beine zu legen, aber ich muss sagen, ich bin mit dem Outcome doch sehr zufrieden. Manchmal muss man etwas wagen, um sich noch wohler in seiner Haut zu fühlen. 

Wieder habe ich diese Hose an, wieder fühle ich mich wohl und wieder bin ich mit den Bildern sehr zu frieden.

a few days ago I showed you an outfit with these pants. At the facebook Plus Size Bloggergruppe started a great diskussion afterwards as I called it there an outfit for the brave.

Some of the girls didn't like the word brave. Does a plus size girl have to be brave to wear slim - fitting clothes?

Courageousness doesn't mean the same to everyone. Slim - fitting does not have to be brave. Most of the time I wear tight clothes because I believe that muffleing with wide clothes - what many bigger girls do - makes you even look bigger as tight clothes. Everyone can tell at the first sight that there is more weight on my body then there should be. 

Yes, I do have thick legs. A boot cut jeans or palazzo pants do not hide at all because my thighs are so out of shape and then it even looks ridiculous when my calves appear under my thighs trying to hide in wide piece of clothes. I rather stick to skinny pants. 

One thing is fundamental to me. Is the bottom wide the upper part has to be tight and if it is wide above it shouldn't be below. Otherwise you drown in textile mass. 

Besides muffeling there is one more thing I can't stand. Many plus size ladys give up and don't care about themselves any more. "Why should try looking pretty? I am ugly and clumsy". I heared that so many times. Am I ugly? Am I plump? Don't get me wrong, I do not want mini me's running around out there. Everyone needs to find an individual way of looking good in their own eyes. Don't tell me that a girl giving up on herself feels good. They don't and you can tell looking at them. Don't give up on yourselves. 

Everybody has something on themselves that makes them look pretty, also us big girls do. I don't say that being big is pretty or something great but only because you are fat it does not mean you are ugly. Look at yourselves, what do you like about you? I like my hair, I think my face and my decollete are pretty, sometimes I even like my big butt and I appreciate that my body's proportions are in an even relation. 

But there are characteristics on your own body you just can't stand. For me these are my thighs. My thighs and I don't have a loveing relationship. Yes they exist but I don't like to put them in focus. With these pants, all eyes are on my thighs. It did cost me some effort to present my thighs like this but I am pleased with the outcome. Sometimes you have to try something new to feel better the way you are.

Again I am wearing these pants, again I am feeling good and I am very pleased looking at these pictures.

Die Eule und ich

manchmal gibt es im Leben ganz besondere Zufälle. Wenn man von diesen Zufällen erzählt, schlagen sich die meisten Menschen beide Hände an den Kopf und bezweifeln jedes Wort. Von so einem Zufall möchte ich Euch heute erzählen. 

Ich habe Euch ja schon mal erzählt, dass meine allerliebste Alex quasi meine Nachbarin ist und nur eine Straße entfernt wohnt. Im Juni und Juli diesen Jahres wohnte in dem Baum vor meinem Schlafzimmer eine junge Waldohreule. Ich taufte sie Lissi. Punkt 22:00 Uhr - man konnte wirklich die Uhr danach stellen - legte Lissi mit dem typischen Ruf der jungen Waldohreule los. Ein sich alle paar Sekunden wiederholendes "Ziiieeh". Die Nachbarschaft hasste Lissi. Ihr Ruf war unglaublich laut, schrill und sie hörte erst gegen vier Uhr morgens auf. Teilweise unterhielten sich Nachbarn von Balkon zu Balkon darüber, wie man Lissi ruhig stellen könnte. Aber es kam ganz anders. Lissi fand einen Freund. Zwischen ihren Rufen war ein etwas leiseres, aber ebenso schrilles Rufen zuhören. Die unbekannte Eule erhielt den Namen Hugo. 

Eines Tages erzählte mir Alex, dass sie nachts kaum schlafen kann, da sie ständig ein schrilles Geräusch hört. Ich erzählte Ihr von Lissi und wunderte mich, dass man Lissi so laut und klar bei ihr hören konnte. Es war aber nicht Lissi, die sie gehört hatte. Vor Ihrem Schlafzimmer steht ebenfalls ein Baum und wer wohnte in diesem Baum? Richtig, Hugo. 

Ist das nicht ein Zufall? Nicht nur wir sind befreundet, sondern auch "unsere" Eulen. Seit dem und meiner Begegnung mit einem Uhu bin ich von diesen Tieren fasziniert. Eulen sind schon wundervolle Tiere, schaut mal hier. Alles was mit Eulen zu tun hat muss ich einfach haben, ich gehe sogar so weit, dass ich unbedingt eine Eule als ewigen Schmuck auf der Haut tragen möchte.  Wir werden sehen, wohin diese Liebe noch führt.

there are several coincidences in your life. Some of them are so special, when you tell people about them they their hands on their foreheads and don't believe a single word you say. Today I want to tell you about one of these stories. 

I told you before that my lovely Alex is something like my neighbour just living a street away from my house. In June and July this year, there was a young long-eared-owl living in the tree infront of my bedroom window. I called her Lissi. At 10 p.m. she started with her cry. It is a every few seconds repeating "ziiieeh". The neighbourhood hated Lissi. Her cry was so loud and shrill and she wouldn't stop before 4 a.m. Sometimes the neighbours were chatting from balcony to balcony about how to get Lissi quiet. But no, Lissi didn't stop, she found a friend. Between her cries you could hear a cry as shrill as hers but not as loud. I called the unkown owl Hugo.

One day, Alex told me, that she could hardly sleep because of a shrill noice. I told her about Lissi and I was surprised that she could hear Lissi as loud as I did. The loud cry she heared was not Lissi. In front of her bedroom window, there is also a tree. But who lived in this tree? Right, it was Hugo.

Isn't that a coincidence? Not only Alex and I are friends, also "our" owls are. Since this and the day I met the eagle owl I am fascinated by these birds. Owl are beautiful and lovely animals, take a look here. Everything that comes with an owl I just need to have actually I go as far that I want to wear an owl on my skin as ever lasting jewlery. We will see where this love is leading to.

Das Kleid das gern eine Bluse wäre

Hallo meine Lieben,

kennt Ihr diese Bluse schon? Nein? Sicher? Seht Ihr, Ihr kennt sie schon. Eigentlich ist die Bluse ja ein Kleid, aber ich liebe es, wenn sie aufgebauscht und lässig in die Jeans gesteckt wird. Der Look wirkt auf diese weise edel, klassisch, lässig und mit der senffarbenen Jacke farblich modern zugleich.

Ich muss ja zugeben, dass ich diese Strickjacke nur wegen diesem Kleid, aber auch nur wegen dieser Tragevariante aus einer spontanen Eingebung heraus gekauft habe. Ich spazierte in mit dem Kleid in der Jeans und brauner Strickjacke durch das kleine Einkaufszentrum neben an, vorbei am NKD und sah diese Jacke. Ich war hin und weg, schnappte mir eine 46 und eilte zur Kasse. Dort geschah dann ein kleines Wunder: es gab eine farblich passende Kette! Die musste mit. Natürlich muss ich Euch nicht erst sagen, dass ich die braune Jacke ganz schnell in die Handtasche stopfte und sofort meine neue senffarbene Jacke + Kette anzog. Hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass es bei NKD auch so schöne Klamotten gibt. Normalerweise hole ich da nur Bettwäsche oder Dekoartikel.

In Gedenken an die braune Strickjacke bleibe ich zumindest der Farbe braun in diesem Outfit noch treu, denn ich trage meine bereits gestern vorgestellten braunen Booties, einen braunen Schal und eine braune Handtasche.

Haare bleiben mit Pony und mittelhohem Pferdeschwanz lässig und ich greife beim Augen Make up die beiden dominantesten Farben, blau und Senf auf. Na ja, senffarben ist mein Lidschatten nicht, aber ich verbinde blauen mit goldenem. Der blaue Lidschatten leuchtet so noch ein bisschen mehr.

do you know this blouse? No? Are you sure? You see, you know it already. Actually this blouse is a dress but I love it when it is tucked in into the jeans. This creates a classy but casual look with mondern colours if worn with this mustard cardigan. 

I admit. I just bought this cardigan because of this dress and this very style. I was wearing this outfit with a brown cardigan when I was walking around in my near by shopping center and saw this cardigan when I was passing by NKD. I was head over heels, grabbed a size 46 and run to the cashier. And there the miracle happend: a colour matching necklace. Took it. I don't think I have to tell you that I instantly stuffed the brown cardigan into my bag and put on the new one and the necklace. I never thought that they sell these nice stuff at NKD because usually I just buy bed linen and decoration there. 

In memory of the brown cardigan I keep the colour brown within this look as I am wearing the brown booties I presented yesterday, a brown scarve and a brown bag. 

My hair also stays casual with banks plus a mid high pony tail and I use the two most dominat colours for my eyes, blue and mustard. Well not mustard but gold. This makes the blue eyeshadow shine even brighter.

Lady in Red ♡ rotes Peplum Kleid Teil 4

Hallo meine Lieben,

sieht das nicht richtig herbstlich in meinem Hintergrund aus? So schön ist es in dem Park bei mir um die Ecke. 

Heute zeige ich Euch wieder eine Möglichkeit das rote Peplum Kleid zu tragen. Gezeigt habe ich es Euch ja schon elegant ohne alles, totally business mit Blazer und punkig mit Karo-Nieten-Bluse. Es war mir heute morgen nach einer gewagten Farbkombo. Manchmal hat man nun mal solche Tage. Ich kombinierte also mein knall rotes Peplum Kleid mit meiner weinroten Thermostrumpfhose und einer schwarzen Strickjacke. Um das Outfit noch herbstlicher zu machen trage ich dazu einen selbst gestrickten groben grauen Schal und süße braune Wildleder Booties. Ganz getreu dem Shopping Queen Motto dieser Woche: Auf Schritt und Tritt - Zeige, mit welchem Schuh du durch den Herbst gehst!

isn't that the perfect autumn site behind me? I got this beautiful park right around the corner of home. 

Today I want to show you another way how to wear the red peplum dress. I already showed you classy without anything, totally business with a blazer and punk style with a tartan blouse. This morning I wanted a rather daring colour mix. It is just one of these days. I started my combo with the red peplum dress, burgundy thermo panty hose and a long black cardigan. To make it look more like an autumn outfit I also wore a hand made thick grey scarveand wonderful brown suede leather booties. All following this week's motto of Shopping Queen - the autumn shoe.

FFFC Der blaue Leopard

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist wieder Zeit für die Fatty Fashion Fun Challenge. Das November Motto lautet:

Animal Prints - Erwecke das Tier in dir.

Ach das ist doch mein Motto. Ich liebe Tierprints. Ja, Tierprints sind irgendwie klischeehaft aber ich liebe sie nun mal. Am liebsten Leo. Wer meinen Blog liest, weiß, dass ich schon des öfteren Leo getragen habe. So wie hier, hier, dort und wieder hier. Aber diese Oberteil ist mein absoluter Favorit. Als ich gesehen habe, dass das November Motto Animal Prints ist, musste ich mir diese Oberteil unbedingt für diesen Post aufheben und dabei trage ich es fast ständig. 

Was macht das Oberteil so besonders? Es ist von meiner Mama, meiner wunderbaren super süßen Mama. Zwischen uns liegt - logischer Weise - ein großer Altersunterschied, aber meine Mama ist eine jung gebliebene Mama und zieht sich nicht wie eine Oma an, nur weil sie jenseits der 50 ist. Kurz um: diese Oberteil gehört meiner Mama. Besser gesagt gehörte ihr. Sie kaufte es sich zu groß und gab es mir bei einem Besuch "mal so zum anprobieren". Natürlich hat eben dieses Oberteil nicht mehr den Weg in Mamas Schrank zurück gefunden. Aber Mama fackelte nicht lange und bestellte es sich in einer Nummer kleiner. Jetzt tragen wir es beide.

it is time for the Fatty Fashion Fun Challenge. The November motto is:

Animal Prints - The Animal inside

Oh this is motto. I love animal prints. Yes animal prints are some how a cliché but I love them to death. My favortie is leopard. Anyone reading my blog knows that I already wore leopard before. Just click 

here, here, there and here again. This shirt is my favorite of all. When I saw that the November motto will be animal prints I just had to keep it for this challenge. Pretty tough because I wear it almost all the time. 

What makes this Shirt so very special? It is from my mom, my wonderful super cute mom. Between my mom and me there is of course a bigger difference in age but I have a young mom who does not dress in granny clothes just because she is beyond 50. This shirt belongs to my mom. Well let's use past tense. She bought it too big and passed it to my "just for a try" when I was at her house. Of course the shirt never returned to her closet again. But mom didn't wait too long and ordered it a size smaller. Now the two of us are wearing it together.

Ab auf die Kerb

Hallo meine Lieben, 

heute habe ich für Euch das kleine Kerb Outfit für zwischendurch. Das beste Accessoire - die Tüte Schokoladen Popcorn.

Die Zeit der Kerb und der großen Märkte ist kommen. In meinem Städtchen und auch in den umliegenden Städtchen versammeln sich die Schausteller um uns mit Schießbude, Karussell und Zuckerwatte Stand das herbstliche Leben zu erleichtern. Ich gebe zu, ich bin kein Freund von den meisten Fahrgeschäften. Riesenrad geht aber immer. Um so mehr freue ich mich auf den Hochheimer Markt. Das November Ereignis zwischen Frankfurt und Wiesbaden. Wer ihn kennt stimmt mir zu, wer nicht, lasst Euch sagen, ein kleiner Ausflug ist er auf jeden Fall wert. 

Auf diesem Bild trage ich ein Kleid von Navabi. Gekauft habe ich es Anfang letzten Jahres und habe mich noch nicht daran satt gesehen. Vielleicht weil ich es auf zwei Arten trage, mal als Kleid wie auf diesem Bild, mal als Bluse leger in die Jeans gesteckt. 

Den leichten Stoff kombiniere ich mit einer braunen Leggings und einer braunen Strickjacke. Durch den weiten Schnitt des Kleides fehlt mir, wenn ich das Kleid auch wirklich als Kleid trage, der Fokus auf die Taille. Daher trage ich immer einen Gürtel dazu.

Casual Monday - Wicked B.... of the East

Hallo meine Lieben,

ich habe "gute Miene zum bösen Spiel" wirklich verinnerlicht. Oder seht Ihr mir etwa auf den Fotos an, dass heute einer besch... Tage überhaupt war? Ich muss es heute morgen schon gewusst haben, als ich mein schwarz - grünes Wicked Outfit anzog. Mein Motto heute: I am the wicked b.... of the east.

"putting a good face on the matter", yes that's my talent or can you tell from the pictures, that today was one of the most ...... up day ever? I must have felt that this morning when I was putting on my black and green wicked outfit. Today's motto: I am the wicked b.... of the east. 

Nichts desto trotz mag ich dieses Outfit sehr. Ich hatte eine farbige Strumpfhose das letzte Mal vor etlichen Jahren an. Bei einem spontanen Strumpfhosen Einkauf bei C&A am Samstag konnte ich dann dieser grünen Thermostrumpfhose nicht widerstehen. Sie ist innen wundervoll weich und hält mit Shorts doch mehr warm, als ich gedacht habe. Für mich ein absolutes Must Have. Ich will diese Woche unbedingt noch mal hin um zu sehen, ob es diese Strumpfhose auch noch in einer anderen Farbe gibt. Bordeaux rot wäre einfach zu schön! Drückt mir die Daumen.


Besides of my mood I really like this outfit. I didn't wear a coloured pantyhose for several years. When I was shopping a pantyhose at C&A on Saturday I just couldn't resist this green thermo-pantyhose. On the inside it is unbelievable soft and it really keeps you warm even when you wear shorts. For me a must have. I really need to go back this week to check if they also have other colours. Burgundy would be just perfect! Crossing fingers.
