Curves Around the World - Peplum

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist wieder Zeit für Curves Around the World. Diese Woche heißt das Motto Peplum, also Schößchen. Peplum habe ich Euch ja z.B. schon mal hier und hier gezeigt. Ich liebe den Schnitt, da es immer eine schöne Taille macht.

Heute gibt es wieder ein Peplum Kleid, diesmal in schwarz. Ich habe zwei Varianten vorbereitet wobei Schuhe und Handtasche jeweils gleich sind.

Auf den ersten Bildern habe ich mir ein frühlingshaftes Tuch um die Schultern gelegt. Es fällt leicht und locker und ich liebe es, wie es vom Wind aufgeweht wird.

Bei der zweiten Variante trage ich einen leichten Cardigan, farblich passend zu den Schuhen. Die Jacke gehört zu meinen Lieblingsjacken. Sie ist relativ einfach, der Kragen besticht jedoch durch Velourseinsatz und Ösen.

it is time for Curves Around the World again. This week we are talking about peplum. I already showed you my peplum collection here and here. I love the shape because it always shows a nice figure.

Today I will show you a peplum dress again but this time in black. I prepared two styles for you, shoes and purse always keep the same.

On the first pictures I have a flower print scarf wrapped around my shoulders. It is lose, easy, reminds me of spring and I love how the wind blows through.

For the secound style I am wearing a nice and simple cardigan in the same colour as the shoes. The jacket is one of my favorites. It is pretty simple but the collar's got fake suede leather and eyes.

Hallo meine Lieben,

sagt mal, habt Ihr ein festes Wochenendritual? Etwas, was Ihr jedes Wochenende macht? Bei den meisten wird es der Wocheneinkauf sein oder ein Treffen mit den Freunden. Bei mir steht morgens, solange mein Gatte noch schläft, die Wiederholung von Shopping Queen auf dem Programm. Ohne Shopping Queen Rückblick der Woche ist es für mich kein Wochenende. Motto dieser Woche:

AC/DC oder Zillertaler Schürzenjäger, style Dich für ein Konzert Deiner Wahl  
Wichtig ist es, nicht den Star zu kopieren, sondern dass man Outfit erkennt, auf welches Konzert man geht.

tell me, do you have a certain ritual for your weekends? One thing you do every single weekend? For the most of, it will probably be grocery shopping or a date with the friends. For me it is watching the reruns of this weeks' Shopping Queen in the mornings as long as my hubbie is still asleep. It is not a weekend if there are no Shopping Queen reruns. This weeks motto:

AC/DC or Zillertaler Schürzenjäger, create a style for a concert of your choice
It is important not to cover the stars but to tell everyone with your outfit to which concert you are going to. 

     

Ich habe mir also folgende Fragen gestellt: Auf welches Konzert würdest ich gerne mal gehen? Welche Künstler sind nicht nur aktuell sondern auch generell meine Favoriten und welche Musikrichtung passt am besten zu meinem persönlichen Style? Egal auf welche Frage meine Antwort lautete: ADELE. 

So I asked myself the following questions: Which concert do I want to go to? Which artists are my favorites in general and not just temporary and which kind of music represents my personal style the most? No matter which question, my answer was always ADELE.

Für das einzig wahre Gänsehautfeeling, schaut Euch dieses Video an. Einfach unglaublich. Für ein Konzert von Ihr in der Royal Albert Hall würde ich sogar einen Kurztrip nach London wagen. Rolling in the Deep ist eines meiner Lieblingslieder, nicht nur weil ich als Gossip Girl Fan an die tanzenden Blair und Chuck denken muss ♡

For the one and only feeling, take a look at this video. Unbelievable amazing. For a concert of her in Royal Albert Hall, I would dare to go on a trip to London. Rolling in the Deep is one of my favorites not only because the Gossip Girl fan inside of me thinks about the dancing Blair and Chuck ♡

     

Ich liebe ihre Musik, ihre warme Stimme, die tollen Texte und vor allem ihren Style. Sie zeigt der Welt, dass auch mopsige Mädchen einfach wunderschön aussehen können. Für meinen Konzertbesuch habe ich einen Pencil Skirt gewählt und eine transparente Bluse. Mein Style wirkt edel und feminin und passt perfekt zu Adele. Flache Schuhe waren mir wichtig, denn auf einem Konzert möchte ich mir nicht mit High Heels die Beine in den Bauch stehen. 

I love her music, her warm voice, the great lyrics and most of all her style. She shows the world, that plus size girls can be amazing beautiful. For my evening at her concert I chose a pencil skirt and matched it with a see through blouse. My style is classy and feminin and fits perfectly to Adele. Flats were a must as at a concert, I do not want to stay on high heels the whole time. 

Ich nutze den heutigen Post auch, um Euch meine neue Jacke von Simply Be vorzustellen, die Bouclé Biker Jacke. Ich liebe den Kontrast aus Bouclé und den Lederärmeln. Der schräge Reißverschluss macht die Jacke rockig und elegant zugleich. Obendrein ist sie auch noch herrlich warm. I am so in love ♡

I am using today's post to show you my new jacket from Simply Be, the bouclé biker jacket. I love the contrast of soft bouclé and tough leather sleeves. The angular zipper makes the jacket elegant and rocking at the same time. On top of that, it is so lovely warm. I am so in love ♡

Ein absolutes Plus ist der abnehmbare kunstpelzkragen. Kuscheliger geht es nicht. 

A definitve plus is the removable fake fur collar. It can't get any more cuddly than that.

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist mal wieder Montag, rein in die Kuschelklamotten. Ich kann Euch nicht sagen, wie glücklich ich bin, dass ich den Monatsabschluss endlich hinter mich gebracht habe. Draussen schien zwar Sonne, aber drinnen wie draussen war es kalt. Bei so einem herbstlichen Wetter liebe ich einfach eine kuschelig warme Strickjacke.

it is Monday again, get me my cuddly cardigan. I can't tell you how happy I am that I finally made it through the closure of the month. The sun was shining today but it was cold in - and outside. With a weather like this I just need a cuddly and warm cardigan. 

Das Shirt, dass ich zu meinem wirklich einfachen Outfit trage, habe ich mal in einem Ausverkauf für gerade mal 12€ erstanden. Ich liebe Schnäppchen. Sehr süß ist der Farbverlauf und die verschnörkelte Schrift. Passt zu allem.

I got the shirt I am wearing for this outfit on sale for just 12€. A great bargain. Very sweet is the soft coulour gradient and the baroque writing. It matches everything.

Hallo meine Lieben,

es ist mal wieder Montag und die Arbeit ruft. Ich quäle mich also wie jeden Montag bequem gestylt ins Büro. Diesen Montag lasse ich es was mein Outfit angeht gaaaanz entspannt angehen. Super weiche, bequeme Skinny Jeans mit super zartem Strickpulli und flachen Booties. So kann der Stress kommen.

it is Monday again and work is calling again. As every Monday I am comfy dressed and I push myself to the office. This Monday I started very smooth, well, only concerning my outfit. Super soft and comfy skinny jeans, super tender knitted shirt and flat booties. So bring on that stress.

Heute Abend habe ich bei meiner liebsten Akex vorbei geschaut, die heute auch die Fotos gemacht hat. In aller Ruhe haben wir für sie Gardinen geshoppt und sie hat mich treu betraten, welche der neu eingetroffenen Simply Be Teile ich behalten soll - keine Sorge, bald gibt es hierzu einen Post. 

This evening I visited my dear Alex, who took the pictures today. We enjoyed picking out new drapes for her flat and she honestly advised me, which new Simply Be picks I shoud keep - no worry, I will soon create a post about it.

Hallo meine Lieben,

heute war ich nicht sonderlich gut drauf. Was war noch mal das Patentrezept gegen schlechte Laune? Ach ja, Shopping! Heute musste Make up her. Ich liebe die Marke Catrice. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist super und ich liebe besonders meine Mascara und das Augenbrauen Set. 

Ein Novum: Glitzer Nagellack. So was habe ich vielleicht vor 20 Jahren das letzte Mal getragen. Ich kündige hiermit für Morgen meinen ersten Beauty Post mit den neu gekauften Produkten an. Ich habe schon DIE Idee, wie ich die Lidschatten miteinander verbinden werde. Ei was bin ich aufgeregt.

I was not in a good mood today. What was again the best thing to do? Ah, well, shopping! Today I was graving for new make up. I love the brand Catrice. The price/performance ratio is great and I love the mascara and the eyebrow set the most. 

Something new: Glitter nailpolish. I was probably wearing that the last time about 20 years ago. I now solemnly pronounce that I will do my first beauty post tomorrow with all the products I bought today. I just have the best idea how to match the eyeshadows. Oh my, I am just so excited. 

Ich liebe das Outfit, das ich Euch heute zeige. Es schreit nach Büro und wirkt dennoch nicht langweilig. Ich habe vor ein paar Wochen mit meiner liebsten Mama ♡ auf Shopping Queen gemacht und bin mit ihr vier Stunden durch die Geschäfte gerannt und habe nach dem selbstausgedachten Motto "Office Chic" geshoppt. Ok, Make up und Friseur haben wir uns gespart, aber dennoch war es ein super Spaß. Alles was Ihr hier seht, bis auf meine Standard Brille natürlich, wurde in diesen vier Stunden geshoppt. 

I really love the look that I am showing you today. It screams office but is not boring at all. A few weeks ago, I was pretending to be on Shopping Queen with my lovely Mom ♡ and we were running through the stores for four hours to shop for the invented motto "Office Chic". Ok, we skipped make up and hairstyling but we had so much fun. Everything you can see below has been shopped within these four hours, well my glasses of course not.
